Follow up - Workshop: Open Innovation network for security's R&D collaboration

Last 28th February 2012, was held in Madrid (Spain) and in the framework of SICUR, the 2nd OSMOSIS international workshop, a full day planned to exchange information and experience about R&D and innovation opportunities in the security field. 
More than 100 persons attended the plenary session where, in addition to the introduction about the opportunities offered by OSMOSIS, different European stakeholders shared experiences and knowledge about Security related projects and research interests.
Mr. Patricio Ortiz de la Torre, Security call coordinator at REA (Research Executive Agency of the EC), participated to the event having a presentation about how to approach the next FP7 Security Research call.
During the afternoon, more than 20 one-to-one meetings were realized with organisations interested in OSMOSIS and in evaluating project ideas with Mr. Ortiz de la Torre.
